Accommodation

In addition to the extensive outdoor camping space, HESLEY WOOD ACTIVITY CENTRE also offers indoor accommodation in a variety of formats depending on your needs. All accommodation units have catering and toilet facilities.


We have four different accommodation facilities, each with their own characteristics;

The Howard Walker Building
The Royston Building
The Fellowship Chalet
The Jubilee Lodge

HOWARD WALKER BUILDING

Situated close to the Camp Centre, this building consists of twenty, twin bedded rooms, heated and carpeted throughout. As well as toilets and shower facilities, it has a dining room, kitchen and large hall.

THE ROYSTON BUILDING

The Royston is a new building which offers five six-bedded rooms and two two-bedded rooms, main hall, kitchen, dining room, toilets and wash facilities. Ideal for a pack holiday centre.

THE FELLOWSHIP CHALET

On its own an ideal base for 12 people. With its grounds an ideal base for pack holidays and Scout Fellowship gatherings.

THE JUBILEE LODGE

Built for the Cub Scouts in their jubilee year, this building provides a main dining/activity hall with a kitchen. In front, there is a field for camping and activities. Ideal for summer pack camps. It could also be used by Explorer Scouts or Scout Networks as a base in winter. There are no dedicated sleeping facilities, its purpose being as a support base to camping groups.
